Everything in the box

What is InContext3D?

A 3D visualisation tool that puts your design on the real world — photorealistic 3D tiles of the actual site — and turns any view into a photorealistic image or video with AI. Use it in the browser, or inside Revit, SketchUp and Rhino without exporting anything by hand.

One account, four front doors

Credits, models, views and markups are shared across all of them. Start a placement in Revit, finish the render in a browser on another machine.

Revit add-in

A dockable pane beside your model. Exports glTF with textures and element parameters, picks which links come along, and syncs the camera to your active 3D view. Revit 2024–2027.

SketchUp extension

The same viewer inside SketchUp, with the model published straight from the open document.

Rhino plugin

A Rhino 8 panel with the same placement and render flow, driven by RhinoCommon geometry.

Any browser

Nothing to install. Upload a GLB from any other tool and work from anywhere, including a tablet.

Features

Built for real project work

AI image rendering

Turn any viewer frame into a photorealistic still in about 30 seconds. Steer it with reference images, a prompt and a built-in prompt enhancer.

More info

AI video

Generate short clips up to 4K, with optional audio, so you can fly the site instead of presenting a single frame.

More info

Real-world context

Photorealistic 3D tiles with accurate terrain, surrounding buildings and location-correct sun for any time of day.

Model publishing

One-click publish from the desktop plugins, or GLB upload from anything else. Optimised and tiled for streaming automatically.

More info

Camera sync

Match the viewer to your active CAD view, or let it follow live as you orbit. Send a shot you found in context back as a real view.

Transform & section

Move, rotate and scale the placed model interactively, and cut section boxes through it — without touching the source file.

Markups & measurement

Draw on 3D terrain or annotate a render. Distance and area measurement, text callouts, and export to Google Earth .kml.

More info

Saved views

Store named camera positions and jump between them, so a review always opens on the same angles.

More info

Projects that sync

Models, views and markups live in a cloud project shared between the web app and the desktop plugins.

More info

Pay per render

The app and the plugins are free. You only pay for renders, you see the cost before each one, and you top up from $5 whenever you like.

More info

Cloud storage

Published models are hosted and streamed on a CDN, so a project opens fast from anywhere and you manage storage from your account.

Light or dark, any device

The whole interface is themeable and responsive — the same UI on a workstation, a laptop and a tablet.

Try it on your own site

Free to install and explore, with $1 of render credit to start. No credit card.
